Game Review: Gears of War 3 by Epic Games

In the gaming enterprise, it is a little surprise that Epic Games is braving some fresh challenges with the video game Gears of War 3. The new four-player cooperative hunt looks astonishing, the visuals and action shots display a noteworthy step up from the previous installment, and the battles that were seen look positively mad. All the same, the coolest new feature on exhibit at the show was the recently proclaimed Beast mode.

The Beast mode has much in common with the well known Horde cooperative mode. Much like that popular game style, players work collectively through waves to kill the enemy. Different than Horde, you will now get on the other end of the equation, being among the Locust horde as they seek to sweep aside the miserable remnants of humanity.

The new game style begins with a choice - which member of the swarming locust army would you become? In a basic match of 10-15 waves, players will get an assigned selection of monsters to choose from. This set would be customized by players to build just the game they prefer to play.

While playing with this video game, preferences in the early waves included several low-power locust. The ticker could lodge into battle, assault a beefed up position, and detonate. The wretch could scramble between cover points, attempting to get close enough to accomplish a crushing melee assault.

As the waves carried on, more significant enemy types became available. This enables you to choose among any number of various boomer editions. The barbaric boomer could hit out belowground explosive projectiles known as diggers to tunnel past cover. The mauler boomer roused into battle with a tremendous ball and chain going around wildly above his head.

Through the end, enjoy playing as a giant serapede– a monolithic multi-legged worm that could creep into battle and wreak havoc on the opposition. When he ultimately came down, we joined in as a Berserker. She’s got terrible vision, so the screen turned extremely blurry. But her crushing charge pulverizes any mortal that comes in her way.

As the game advanced, we began to witness just how flexible and strategic, this new Beast mode can become. By collaborating with allies, it’s imaginable to field an impressive range of Locust attackers to attack the settled human positions. Blended with the stellar presentation of the campaign in full action, the latest Gears episode uncovered itself to be no less than what was expected: among the definitive games to watch this 2011.
